Where Am I Wearing?
Let your mind wonder
USA Basketball and…
My shorts: Redeemed!
How much does it mean to me? It’s 4:39am and I’m wearing my shorts, proud as can be. In a way, I think I deserve some of the credit.
The sun is alwasy setting and rising
Somewhere the sun is always setting. Whether that somewhere is into the ocean, thunder clouds, a prairie, a desert, a city skyline, depends on where you are.
Lucky for us, the site Constant Setting takes us to where the sun is setting right now.

Which I guess we did. Could this really be the result? Poor kid.
You pick the author’s pic
Annie and I had a little photo shoot in our backyard today. I’m sure it’ll give the neighbors something to talk about. Anyhow, I need to supply my publisher with an author’s pic and I’m reaching out for a little help.
Vote and let me know which shot we should use for the book - or if you think I look like Quasimodo with my crooked smile in all of them, tell me that too.
Here are our four picks:

Three thousand words: My wife the Ninja
Yesterday we were playing with Annie’s nephew when she busted out the kick-ass-kung-fu-guy-gets-knocked-down-and-then-hops-back-up-to-kick-your-butt move. I’m not sure if she has ever impressed me more. Just another reason why I (can’t) don’t beat her.

A thousand words…Garrison Keillor
At the Erma Bombeck conference in 2006 I met Dave Barry. This weekend at the conference I met Garrison Keillor of Prairie Home Companion/Writer’s Almanac/Lake Woebegone/column writing fame.
More about the conference tomorrow.
